Hi All,
I hope everyone is doing well. I wanted to give a quick update on the chapter. We are still dealing with COVID-19 and have not been able to have in person meetings except for our Summer Social.
We do have a joint meeting scheduled for November with the Colonial Chapter, which is always a great event, and are working on a Holiday Social in December. We are hoping that in January we will be able to resume in person or a hybrid model for our monthly meetings.
With that said, if you have ideas for meetings for next year, a topic you would like to hear more about or a speaker that you think would be beneficial to the chapter please reach out to one of the officers. Now is a great time to take advantage of some of the virtual trainings that are being offered through the National Website.
We appreciate everyone’s patience through COVID and the difficulties it has caused for our chapter, we look forward to getting things back to normal soon. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime if there is anything I can help with.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Miles
President, Greater Tidewater Chapter

Summer Social
We had a great turn out and beautiful weather for our first in person social since 2019! The food was great and we were even graced by Bobby the clown, who made balloon animals for the kids that attended. A huge shout out to long time GTC member Dan Hurley for facilitating the logistics and putting this together for our chapter! We are looking forward to transitioning to more in person opportunities.
