Hello Greater Tidewater Chapter!

I am pleased to serve as your chapter President and excited for what the next two years will hold! We have an incredible team of volunteers on our executive board this year that are excited to deliver valuable content, fun events and meaningful networks for each of you. Our August baseball social completely sold out and was quite the talk of the town! Delicious food, beautiful weather and a great time with friends, new and old. It is in these moments that connections are made and networks are built. Each of us has a personal network and presence, and this year we are working to share what ASSP GTC offers across our LinkedIn platform.

How can YOU help us spread the word to up and coming students and safety professionals as well as those mid and late in their career?  Make sure you are:

1. Following our page on LinkedIn for ASSP Greater Tidewater Chapter and 2. Repost/share our chapter meetings and info to your networks!

This would be a great step in helping us to reach the unreached professionals in our community.

If we have not had the chance to meet, I hope to see you at one of our events later this year. There are lots of opportunities to join us and learn, share and connect. If you find yourself having fun with us, consider volunteering as a great way to give back to the community and your chapter of safety professionals!

Hope to see you soon,

Ali LePock, CSP

ASSP SUMMER SOCIAL AT TIDES PARK
We had a great turn out and beautiful weather and for this year’s ASSP GTC Summer Social at Harbor Park! Everyone was glad to visit together and meet other members and their families. The food was great and we paid a visit by mascots Riptide and Trident, who posed for photos. The patio was an incredible view as we cheered on the Norfolk Tides! A huge shout out to long time GTC member Dan Hurley for facilitating the logistics and putting this together for our chapter! What a great way to end the summer and looking forward to more in person meetings soon.
