Topic: Ethics: The Line for Safety Professionals

This topic will explore the ethical challenges safety professionals face through interactive scenarios and provide insight that will help to better define the gray area of ethics. This course fulfills the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) annual code of ethics CEU requirement. CEUs will be provided.

Every day we are faced with making decisions that challenge our ethics as people, our alignment with our organizations, and our credibility as safety professionals. The conflict between ethical behavior and alignment with the interests of our employers can sometimes become quite challenging. As safety professionals, we need to practice ethics while serving our organization’s needs in protective people, property and environment, all while remaining true to our profession.
