What: Summer Baseball Social

Come out for an afternoon to relax, enjoy food, and drinks as the Norfolk Tides take on the Nashville Sounds. Bring your friends, family and co-workers as we celebrate summer together.

When: Sunday, August 23rd

Time: 12:00 gates open and food is served, 1:05 game start, 1:30 food service ends

Cost: $35.00 Price includes admission, food, and non-alcoholic drinks (Ticket Deadline is August 17th, 2026 @ 11:59 PM)

The menu for the afternoon will include ALL YOU CAN EAT pork BBQ, hot dogs, potato salad, coleslaw, cookies, and unlimited canned sodas.

Note: Traffic will be challenging due to construction in the area. Arrive early! Consider taking the Tide, carpooling, parking at Waterside or taking the ferry from Portsmouth. 

Summer Social Sponsorships

The GTC (Greater Tidewater Chapter) of the American Society of Safety Professionals offers a sponsorship program to help your company reach the safety, health and environmental (SH&E) professionals in the Hampton Roads area. With more than 200 members in the Chapter we offer sponsors a way to directly target the people that buy products and services in this area. Your support in sponsoring the Chapter’s activities also assists us in developing our Chapter and our members in the safety and health field.

Sponsorship goes towards the cost of the food for the baseball game.
Acknowledgments will be given during the greeting and closing of the event in the picnic area.
Company logo and website link (to the company homepage) on the home page of the GTC website for 6 months.

Includes four free game tickets.

SILVER SPONSOR: $250
Sponsorship goes towards the cost of the tickets for the baseball game.
Acknowledgments will be given during the greeting and closing of the event.
Company logo and website link (to the company homepage) on the home page of the GTC website for 1 month.
Includes two free game tickets.

BRONZE SPONSOR: $125
Sponsorship goes towards the cost of the tickets for the baseball game.
Acknowledgments will be given during the greeting and closing of the event.
Includes one free game ticket.
